This for sure was a special meal. It’s super affordable, fresh ingredients and meticulously prepared courses. A great variety of different dishes to sample, making use of different techniques and skills. Attentive staff and calm atmosphere. If we had more time in Osaka we would’ve come for their lunch service for sure. One thing that can be improved is the choice of non- alcoholic options for drinks.

Incredible 20-course meal at Kokuryu Osaka. Each dish was beautifully prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients and great attention to detail. Flavors were refined, portions well-paced, and presentation was elegant. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made the effort to explain each course in English. Second servings of dessert was also a pleasant surprise! The venue is clean, stylish, and intimate, with a sleek dark-toned interior. Despite a full-house, service was smooth and the atmosphere remained calm with a great alcohol selection. Highly recommend for a wonderful dining experience in Osaka.
